‘A Registry of Variations’

A collaborative project with visual artist and musician Andrei Alecsandru which resulted in a duo exhibition in December 2024. Mixed-media processes in collage, drawing, installation, sound and video projection.

Set in an underground gallery, the installation was a private catalogue of the mundane. Embodied material processes are re-assembled and documented. Secrecy, censorship and voyeurism in a damp cavern.   

The exhibition was a registry of frozen moments, of variations in the creative process. Fragmentation and assembling is a game through which we can understand one’s self and one’s relationship to one’s temporal context.
