Sudden Death II (2026)
Lamination is used to combine together images, objects and fragments of paintings and drawings into a single, slim surface. The thin layer of plastic homogenizes or at least, reconciles, the differences between the heterogeneous elements. Flattened and digitized by the deathly white light of the scanner, the disparate surfaces are joined into a reproducible image, they exist forever together in relation to each other, to form a sum beyond their selves. Death of individuality in one sense though the individuality of each element is asserted in relation to one and other.
